Was at the Vancouver-Kingsway all candidates debate tonight. Didn't liveblog, as Paul Wells suggested we bloggers should. But, as you will see, I did get some video.
NDP candidate Don Davies rocked. That's not just my bias talking. He was by far the most prepared, the most well-spoken, and he offered the best responses.
Vancouver-Kingsway is a riding scorned. They elected David Emerson the Liberal, last time around only to have him go Conservative within the first few months. They had town hall meeting after town hall meeting in the riding for almost a year. There is a dude in the riding who has transformed his vehicle into the anti-Emersonmobile.
The first question was about floor-crossing and what each party's policy was on it. Here's how that went (I, of course, added a soundtrack):
Anyways, the Liberal candidate came across as unprepared and the Conservative candidate didn't bother to show up. If everyone in the riding watched even 15 minutes of the all candidates debate, it would be a Don Davies landslide.
Way to go Don!

Hey that was a great answer. I wonder how Blair Wilson or Garth Turner would answer that question
